For 5 generations Bilgin Yacht Builders of Istanbul, Turkey have retained the respect of the yachting world and are considered one of the few old world experts in yacht building. Bilgin has been manufacturing the highest quality motor and sailing yachts in the very same shipyard for over 50 years. Dedication and the quest for perfection is the reason for their enormous success. Their closely guarded, secret, old world technique of laminating mahogany planking on massive mahogany frames has generated a proven record of durability yet graceful design. Below the water line they use three diagonal laminated layers of planking. Above the water line two layers of laminated planking is covered with marine plywood.



As you can plainly see by the photographs each and every inch of both the plush interiors and the flowing deck and helm areas has been meticulously planned and designed to epitomize shear elegance. The inside of all interior compartments, engine room sections, superstructures, water tight bulkheads, etc., are designed to withstand sound, heat, water and fire due to the extreme safety standards that the Bilgin family has lived by for these many years.
