A popular boat, the Albin 28 is a practical and well designed fisherman with a very spacious cockpit, wide sidedecks, and a roomy interior with accomodations for four. A traditional looking boat with her Downeast styling, her hull boast a prop-protecting skeg for increased tracking and stability. While the centerline engine box dominates the cockpit, there's still plenty of working space for a couple of anglers. The optional moulded hardtop with slidind side windows makes the helm a semi-enclosed area. Inside the look is straightforward and basic-white gel-coated bulkheads, snap-out carpeting, and a few pieces of teak trim. A quarter berth extends beneath the bridgedeck, and the cabin headroom is adequate thanks to the raised foredeck. Additional features include side exhaust, stainless steel radar arch, fish box and a transom levewell. The cockpit engine box also doubles as cockpit seating or a work table. The addition of the optional bow thruster is a welcome accessory.
