You might want to consider going to the Lake Las Vegas Resort where they have a wide variety of excellent golf courses. One of them is Reflection Bay. Reflection Bay is simply beautiful, incorporating the desert for a abeacha look. It was designed by Jack Nicklaus himself, so it presents itself with a nice challenge with some smartly placed bunkers and elevation changes. The water is also another thing you will need to think about. Price: $150-300 The Falls Golf Course is another well known course that is included in the Lake Las Vegas Resort. You can expect only state of the art features because this course is so new. In fact it has some of the greatest elevations difference in Vegas and has a number of great waterfalls. One in a different setting is The Siena Golf Club. This course is for the person that is not a professional because the course isnat as hard as others in the area. However it still provides great scenery and landscaping to produce a great round of golf. The highlight of this course it the ancient Italian theme. Another great course is the Royal Links Golf Club which actually mimics some of the greatest holes on the British circuit. They are just about exact duplicates to the best holes and will provide you with the sense of British golf in your blood. A benefit on this course is that each hole will contain a description with the British history behind each. Desert Pines Golf Club as you can guess from the name is themed with pines. A lot of pines. There are pines everywhere. In fact, there are 4,000 pines. Probably one of the best value courses in Las Vegas, it can be as low as $45 for tee times. This is one of the easier courses yet still a good one to enjoy. Price $45-125 Dragon Ridge Country Club The elevation changes make this course challenging. There are a lot of water features especially in the first 5 holes. Some of more challenging holes have rough terrain that will have golfers beating themselves up over it. Price You must be a member of this country club or a guest to a member. Experienced golfers will enjoy the challenge of the longest golf course in Nevada which equals 7,600 yards. This course is known as Wolf Course at Paiute Resort and is presented as a challenging course. It is not recommended that beginners play here due to the level of difficulty. Lastly, the Bali Hai Golf Club is another great course to consider because its theme is based on the South Pacific. This course includes a green on an island, thousands of palm trees and many tropical plants scattered throughout. The course will present a challenge to anyone who wishes to try it.
